Rambles and Riff Raff about all this and that
Slow posting
Published by Esteban Glas on May 30th, 2007 | This post lacks all category except for: Blog Design
I have been neglecting this blog for some time. I have 27 posts in draft condition; I just can’t seem to find the time or inspiration (or both) to end up with any of them or get brand new posts done.
I have a new design on the pipeline.
I have also neglected commenting and reading on the blogs I usually read and comment upon.
I want May to be over; odd since it’s my favorite month. May in Bariloche (my hometown) is Rainy and very “autumnish”; quite inspiring.
I need to get off Auto Pilot mode (thanks Mark).

Esteban - wow 27 drafts. You have a lot of thoughts in your head my friend - and that’s a good thing.
It’s also a good thing that you a busy living your life, and not just blogging it. I think the blog world, like I imagine second life, or any other online experience, can somewhat take over.
In the past, I was a step dad, and one of the teenage daughters would spend hours instant messaging all her friends. I wanted her to get off the computer and go spend some time in the real world. In hingsight, instant messaging was just another tool that enabled her socilization process, but somehow it still seemed out of balance.
Recently, I’ve been in a bit of a dry spell myself, in that I’m not doing the kinds of things I want to be writing about. Most of the things I am doing, I can’t write about because I imagine them uninteresting to the audience, or they are personal things.
Congratulations to your new wife! I’m glad that you both are finding success on your respective life paths.

I do have a lot of thoughts; just need to give some order to them, I guess. I also have a lot of things I believe are uninteresting to blog about or are rants that are better kept intimate.
I myself was a “victim” of real life being replaced by online life; since I had a thing for games. Luckily for me it never prevented me from doing anything, but it still consumed way too many hours of my life.
Luciana’s is a great achievement, particularly considering the lack of resources she (and many others) has to cope with. Congratulations will be given!
