Safari’s Windows Beta is out on the wild. Being the major geek I am I went for the download and installed right away. I might of expected too much, but it looked awfully plain to me upon first launch; then, I load lenovo.com, hit a menu and:
I’ve been using Firefox since it was on version 0.26, thus I know what to expect from “beta”. I was never too much of a Mac fan, I think it’s installs are invasive, and their policies are ugly. If I want to install iTunes, why is QuickTime pulled down my throat? Same with safari, on the beta download page the preselected option is “Safari + QuickTime”.
Thanks, but no thanks, I’ll stick with Firefox.
